What if God is telling a story through your life?
Can you discover what kind of story He’s trying to tell and get on the same page with him?
Is it possible to navigate life with direct communication between you and your Author?
In the Beginning, Middle, and End offers a fun and adventurous roadmap to life through the lens of storytelling. Jaclyn Whitt's unique perspective as a screenwriter offers entertaining insights on journeying through life as part of History. Using script examples from her own screenplays, Jaclyn breaks down story elements, character development, and the beautiful relationship dynamic between an author and his protagonist. Understanding God as the Author can help you choose how you respond to God's various "writing techniques", such as calling us into the unknown, providing mentors, and more. You are invited to dive into the realm of creativity and not only learn to recognize the elements of storytelling, but learn to embrace God’s efforts to write a meaningful and impactful story through your life.

Can't recommend this book enough. This is so much more than just pointers on script writing. This book ministered to me personally and helped me understand a little more about my Author and Creator in a way I never thought about. Jaclyn's examples and personal accounts throughout the book are so relatable, wonderfully written and easy to understand. Anyone in the film industry will benefit but so will anyone who is not in the industry if you just want a unique style of small group study about your Author.
In the Beginning, Middle, and End is not just a guide for writing but a guide for life. This book not only helped me to understand how to make my scripts and stories more intentional and meaningful but also how to see my own life and journey as a story that is full of intention and purpose.
I walked away from the book with a deeper love and respect for myself, my creator, and my creativity. How one book can make me grow emotionally, creatively, and spiritually is so inspiring. Jaclyn Whitt is not only a great screenwriter but an amazing author and inspiration! Will read it again and again! |
